MAG Ministry is a ministry that is aimed at encouraging growth and accountability in the lives of the men in Empangeni Baptist Church.
It is our aim to call men together once a month and challenge them spiritually and encourage accountability in their lives. We have been blessed as we have been meeting together this year and have looked at "Being Fathers and Sons in the Church," "Accountable Men," and "Humility and Pride".
The logo of this ministry was designed in order express what we are aiming at through this ministry. The presence of the cross on our logo, serves to be more than just a reminder that this is a religious exercise, but a reminder of it’s centrality in our lives and in this ministry.
Were it not for the cross we would not have hope as we do. Christ, through His death on the cross, has made it possible for us to have a relationship with Him that is real and personal. We want to help men experience this in its fullness. Through the cross we are humbled, freed, and given hope!
The Mag also has 5 spokes which represent 5 aspects that we will be focusing on as we launch this ministry. These are, Worship, Edification, Application, Prayer and Accountability.
